Well. They haven’t located my laptop. That will still take ten days to investigate.
But they have conceded that perhaps being without my computer may be a little inconvenient, so they’re going to lend me one in the meantime. From what I gathered it won’t be quite identical, but the only difference will be slightly less memory.
I suggested they could keep me up to date by email, but apparently that is not an option. Funny, given that they write email software.
I’m to call back when I return from the US on April 27th. Time will tell whether my patience holds or whether 10-10-987 is called upon.
Well, it’s not ideal, but it’s something. So have you sent off that fax to Mr. Jobs yet?
No faxes sent to Mr. Jobs. I’m storing up some negotiating tactics just in case.
